As Owner/Operator of Stoneledge Farm on Lake Champlain, I was overwhelmed with the task of getting our newly purchased 25 acre property back to its former glory. There were cutting gardens, unwieldy fence lines, overgrown forests, and unkept lake access points. Every week I felt like I had moved 1 step forward and 2 steps back. I wanted to pass on my highest recommendation for Vertscape in the areas of lawn care, landscape and garden maintenance. They had been caring for our property for about 6 years which began with lawn care, and spring and fall clean up, and soon expanded to include fertilization programs, plant selection and plantings, shrub trimming and rock wall repairs.

Vertscape maintains my home in Charlotte, Vermont. It’s my second home on Lake Champlain. The property has always had great bones but for years was overgrown and unmanageable. They simplified, repositioned flowers and plants, revived trees and creatively added touches that I would never had thought of.
I arrive at the house now and see a gorgeous landscape, full tree line, multi colored rock garden. I walk the property down the the lake and just admire.
I’m particular so I’m selective about what I want. It’s a pleasure to wake up and look out the window and see such a beautiful presentation.
Vertscape was recommended to me by a neighbor in Shelburne and I'm so appreciative that she did. I needed some tree work done as I had overgrowth and I could tell Del knew exactly what he was talking about. He was very easy to work with and understood our wishes completely. When returning later in the day he started the job I was astounded by how much the crew had accomplished. He offered some suggestions as to pruning to improve the health of other landscaping around the property without any kind of pressure and I gladly took his advice.
Del is polite, knowledgeable, easy to work with but most importantly to me is that he takes great pride in his work and his work ethic is admirable. I only hope this testimonial doesn't book his schedule as there's plenty more work I could use his services for.

We had a stone wall garden that looked like a pile of rocks and weeds that was a nightmare to care for. Then Del came to work his magic to restructure the existing stones into a beautiful stone wall. He cleaned up the ghastly weeds and planted small plants and shrubs that will survive in the shallow earth of a rock garden. The final touches were adding solar lights at strategic places to highlight the beauty of the plants and rock wall. We are excited to use Vertscape for all of our landscaping and lawn and shrub care. They are affordable, friendly, and provide top quality service. We highly recommend them!

Vertscape has completely transformed our backyard, and now our back porch. It used to be a patch of mud with a slightly smelly old wood porch. Now it's a beautiful blue stone porch which matches our patio and is surrounded by perennials he planted. Del is the absolute best, he listens and provides recommendations to get you what you want at an affordable price. He gives honest evaluations of how long a project will take, and then usually beats his own estimates :-). He laid the stone for our porch in one day! As I tell all of my friends, I cannot recommend Del highly enough.
